New Commissioner Orientation, Mountain Lions and Game and Fish Budget Among Items on the Agenda for the March 20-21 Commission Meeting in Gillette

CHEYENNE - Information regarding the 2012-2013 mountain lion season in the Black Hills, preliminary approval of the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission’s fiscal year 2014 budget, and proposed strategies for addressing the department’s short-term funding challenges will be on the agenda for the March 20-21 Commission meeting.

The meeting will also include an orientation for the new commissioners, information on water rights at Lake DeSmet, and an emergency change to a fishing regulation that was recently adopted.

The meeting will be held in Gillette at Northern Wyoming Community College, Technical Education Center Building, Room 136. Open meeting sessions begin at 8 a.m. both days. A complete agenda may be found at wgfd.wyo.gov.
