Q. Is there a minimum age to hunt turkeys?
A. There is no minimum age, but as with hunting other wildlife, young hunters (with few exceptions) are required to have completed a hunter safety course before hunting. Hunter safety education is required of all hunters born after 1965 to take any wildlife by the use of firearms on land other than that owned by their family.
