Q. What is the legal cartridge capacity for big game hunting?
A. Wyoming does not have restrictions on cartridge capacity for big game hunting. This is not to be confused with restrictions on shotshell capacity for waterfowl and most bird hunting that requires shotguns to be plugged to admit no more than two shells in the magazine and one in the chamber. Additional information on firearm restrictions for big game hunting is found in the big game regulations.
