Q. Is it legal to use a .22 to hunt grouse?
A. Yes…as long as you are hunting blue or ruffed grouse. These game birds may be taken with a number of weapons including handguns and rifles. Wyoming’s other species of grouse, sage and sharp-tailed grouse may only be taken with shotguns and archery equipment.
