Q. Am I allowed to put scent on lures if I am fishing waters restricted to artificial flies and lures?
A. There are a number of chemical fish attractants on the market, but regulations prohibit the use of these or other attractants on waters restricted to use of artificial flies and lures. This is explained in detail on page 5 of the fishing regulations with the following statement: “Artificial flies and lures do not include living or dead organisms or edible parts thereof, natural or organic prepared food stuffs or chemical attractants, regardless if the chemical attractant is added in the manufacturing process or applied afterwards.
