Q. Do you have an early archery season for the spring black bear hunt?
A. Yes – in most hunt areas. Archery seasons vary with the hunt area for most opening April 15, and four areas opening May 1. There are also several areas closed to archery hunting. Archers are advised to check the black bear regulations for the season in the area they wish to hunt. Black bear regulations are available at Game and Fish offices, license agents, or online at wgfd.wyo.gov.
