Q. Can you use a firearm with a noise suppressor to hunt coyotes?
A. Sorry, but not in Wyoming. Although suppressors - a noise-reducing device attached to the muzzle or silencer - are getting some publicity on hunting shows, they are against the law to use for hunting in Wyoming. Wyoming law reads, "No person shall take into or possess in the game fields or forests of Wyoming any fully automatic weapon or device designed to silence or muffle the report of any firearm."
