2012 Expo Awards
The awards, which will be presented at the Expo '12 Awards Banquet, held during the Expo in Casper, will commemorate those who exemplify what the Expo stands for: skills, ethical and responsible conduct in the outdoors,and wildlife stewardship. The award winners are nominated by instructors, teachers, parents, mentors, civic leaders,and peers from the community of Wyoming's wildlife enthusiasts. Poster, Poetry and Essay Contest
In conjunction with the Expo, we conduct a poster, poetry, and essay competition, which is a competition for all Wyoming students.
Youth Conservationist of the Year Fishing or Hunting
Nominate a Wyoming citizen who is recognized as a role model in citizenship, wildlife stewardship, and ethical behavior while educating youth in outdoor skills and wildlife conservation.
Badger Award
Nominate an individual or organization that has demonstrated exceptional examples of mentorship and friendship to persons with disabilities while participating in outdoor activities.
Conservation Educator of the Year
Nominate a Wyoming teacher or youth leader who has demonstrated excellence in citizenship, wildlife stewardship,and ethical behavior while educating youth in outdoor skills and wildlife conservation.
Wildlife Conservationist of the Year
Nominate a Wyoming citizen who is recognized as a role model in citizenship, wildlife stewardship, and ethical behavior while educating youth in outdoor skills and wildlife conservation. Self-nominations are acceptable.
