Sage Grouse Executive Order Workshop Information
On June 2, 2011 Governor Mead signed Sage Grouse Executive Order (SGEO) 2011-5 replacing the previous Sage Grouse Executive Order 2010-4 initiated by Governor Freudenthal.
The state of Wyoming is holding three workshops to discuss updated information and answer questions about the policy established by the SGEO and review implementation procedures. In addition the Web Application Density Disturbance Calculation Tool (DDCT) created by the Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center (WYGISC) as the primary tool for assessing disturbance levels for projects proposed for sage grouse core areas, will be reviewed.
The actual DDCT web application will be available for use by all interested parties July 10, 2012.
