CHEYENNE - The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is offering its game warden exam at 14 colleges across the West and Midwest this spring in addition to department offices.
To qualify for the exam, applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree in a wildlife-related field or be on track to earn the degree by Aug. 31, 2014, and possess a valid driver’s license.
Interested individuals must submit the Request to Take 2014 Game Warden Exam and a copy of collegetranscripts prior to the registration deadline, which is generally 8 to 10 days prior to the testing date. Applicants who pass the written exam will be offered an online interview in July 2014. Selected candidates from the online interview will be asked to attend an in-person interview in Cheyenne in August of 2014 where they will be required to complete a psychological assessment, polygraph and a job suitability profile.
