CHEYENNE - Boaters are alerted they will be unable to register their boat in Wyoming during October.
During October, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department will be close out the 2013 watercraft registration season and prepare for the 2014 season.
Watercraft registrations will resume Nov. 1 at Game and Fish offices (regional and Cheyenne). Effective Nov. 1, one-year registrations will be valid through 2014 and three-year registration will be valid through 2016.
Boaters who require a 2013 invasive species sticker will still be able to buy one during October.
Beginning with the 2014 season, boaters who buy their aquatic invasive species decal sticker at the same time they register their watercraft will receive a single decal for their watercraft. The decal will indicate both the aquatic invasive species decal purchase and the watercraft registration.
In addition to buying their aquatic invasive species stickers online, boaters can also renew their watercraft registrations online.
