CHEYENNE - The deadline for Wyoming resident big game hunters to apply online for limited quota elk, deer, and antelope licenses is 5 p.m. May31. Although the deadline to submit paper applications was May 15, online applications are still being accepted.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s Electronic Licensing Service will not accept applications after 5p.m. May 31.
Currently, more than 90 percent of applications are received online. In addition to being convenient for hunters, applying online reduces errors. Online applications can be processed faster and with less effort, representing significant cost-savings for Game and Fish and expediting drawings. Visit the Game and Fish website wgfd.wyo.gov. Select “Get Your License: WGFD ELS in the left column. Call 307-777-4600 if you need assistance with the online application process.
Some areas have changes from previous years, so hunters are advised to check seasons, license types, and quotas before applying.. The one-page big game summary maps (available in print in previous years) containing this information are now available online only at wgfd.wyo.gov.
