Closures Noted for Game and Fish Wildlife Habitat Management Areas

CHEYENNE - Most big game seasons are over and many of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Wildlife Habitat Management Areas that provide big game winter range are closed for the season.
According to Game and Fish Habitat and Access Branch Chief Bill Cowling, seasonal closures minimize stress-causingdisturbance to wintering deer, elk, and other wildlife. The closures also reduce the human and recreational impacts to forage that supports wintering wildlife. Unless otherwise noted, areas are closed to human presence. The Habitat and Access Branch is responsible for implementing the following closures:
