CHEYENNE - The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is offering its game warden exam at 15 colleges across the West and Midwest this fall.
To qualify for the exam, applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree in a wildlife-related field or be on track to earn the degree by Dec. 31, 2012, and possess a valid driver’s license.
Interested individuals must submit the Request to Take 2012 Game Warden Exam and a copy of college transcripts prior to the registration deadline, which is generally four days prior to the test deadline.
Applicants who pass the written exam are then interviewed and required to complete a psychological assessment, polygraph, and a job suitability profile. Individuals who successfully complete the process will be placed on a list from which game warden positions are selected.
For the specific dates and times the exam will be conducted or for more information go to the department website at: wgfd.wyo.gov, call (307) 777-4585 or e-mail wgf.wildlife@wyo.gov.
