Q. Do nonresident youth need fishing licenses?
A. It depends on the age and situation of the nonresident youth. Nonresidents under 14 do not need a fishing license if they are with an adult who has a license and the fish they catch are included in the adult’s limit. If nonresident youth want to catch their own separate limit they must get a license. Wyoming resident youth under 14 do not need a license and they can catch their own limit. The annual fishing license for nonresident youth between their 14thand 18th birthday is $15. The fishing license for resident youth is $3.
