CHEYENNE - The Wyoming Game and Fish commission will be meeting July 9-11 in Lander at the Best Western Inn. On July 9, the commission will be touring wildlife habitat areas and public access areas in the Lander region.
Agenda items to be acted upon beginning July 10 include furbearing animal trapping or hunting seasons and mountain lion seasons. The commission will also hear presentations on license regulations and the Game and Fish funding and financial status.
Other agenda items include presentations on the effects of predation on sage grouse, the Game and Fish policy on wolves, and an update on the department’s hunter education program. The commission will also be briefed on public access easement negotiations and on the status of the Joint Board of Agriculture/Wyoming Game and Fish Commission access recognition program.
