Q. What is the possession limit for fish?
A. The possession limit is the same as the daily creel limit. Page 5 of the fishing regulations lists the daily creel and possession limits for the various species of game fish. In simple terms, the possession limit means the maximum number of game fish you can have in your possession. This means that game fish in transit or in storage are considered to be in possession. Possession limits apply regardless of how many days an angler has fished.
