Q. Do youth need hunter safety to apply for a hunting license?
A. Wyoming law does not require youth to have hunter safety to obtain a hunting license. However, youth must have complied with the hunter safety requirement before going hunting. Wyoming law requires that anyone born on or after Jan. 1 1966 have hunter safety to use firearms to hunt wildlife in Wyoming.
