CHEYENNE - Kathy Frank, assistant fiscal chief in Cheyenne, recently retired from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department after more than 29 years of service with the State of Wyoming.
Frank joined the Game and Fish in 1991 after serving as accounting director in the State Auditor’s Office.As assistant fiscal chief, she was instrumental in developing the Game and Fish budget process and served an important role in overseeing Game and Fish finances and fiscal matters.
"Kathy has received many letter of recognition for her outstanding work, her ethics, and as a leader in state government,” said Game and Fish Fiscal Chief Rich Reynders. “Kathy is known for being the best budget person in the state and is well known by Legislators, the Governor's Office, and her fellow state employees."
She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and accounting from Grove City College in Grove City, Pa., and a master’s degree in business (MBA) from the University of Wyoming. In 1980 Frank was named the outstanding graduate of UW’s MBA program. Over the years, she has been involved with and held manyoffices with Wyoming accounting organizations and financial institutions.
