CHEYENNE - The Wyoming Game and Fish Department reminds Wyoming womenthat the application deadline for the Becoming an Outdoors Woman camp is April 15.
Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) is an outdoor skills program offered by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department each summer. Wyoming’s BOW camp will be held June 15-17, 2012, at the Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp outside of Dubois. Activities at the weekend long camp are designed to introduce women to avariety of outdoor pursuits they can enjoy in Wyoming’s great outdoors—from hunting and shooting to fly fishing, canoeing, or wildlife photography.
Applications must be received by the Game and Fish by 5 p.m. on April 15. Faxes and e-mails will not be accepted.The three-day event costs $150, which includes all meals, lodging, and equipment. Space is limited to 50 womenand final participants will be selected through a random draw.
