Q. When does trapping season begin and end?
A. Seasons are now open and closures vary with the species. Mink and weasel have seasons running until March 31 while beaver and muskrat seasons stay open until April 30. Seasons for bobcat and marten close March 1 and badgers may be taken year-round. If you have a 2012 trapping license it will also be valid next fall when seasons reopen after the spring closures. The trapping regulations list the complete seasons as well as other important information governing trapping.
