CHEYENNE - The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission will be meeting in Cheyenne on Jan. 26-27 at the WGFD Headquarters, Elk Room.
Items on the agenda include updates on the Platte Valley Mule Deer Initiative, Chokecherry Sierra Madre Wind Development project in Carbon County, and Wyoming Wetlands Conservation Strategy.
The Commission will also be given an overview of historic climate variability trends in Wyoming and projections of future climate. In addition the Commission will receive reports on Wyoming's Aquatic Invasive Species program and an update on the activities of the Water Rights Management Team and Alternative Enterprises program.
