Q. Can I use my dogs to hunt bobcats?
A. Yes you can, but keep in mind that bobcats are legally classified as furbearers in Wyoming and to hunt or trap them by any method, a furbearing trapping license is required. Specifically, the regulation on bobcats states that "persons possessing a valid furbearing trapping license may use dogs to take bobcats during the bobcat hunting or trapping season." The bobcat season opened Nov. 15 and will close on March 1, 2012.
