Resident Initial Drawing Application
and License Fees
Section 1. Dates and Deadlines
Applications and fees must arrive at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Cheyenne, Wyoming by 5 p.m. mountain time on the application deadline to be valid regardless of the postmark date. Online applications must be completed and submitted by 5 p.m. mountain time as well.
If the deadline date is on a day when the Cheyenne Headquarters office is closed for normal business hours (weekends, holidays, etc.), paper applications received by 5 p.m. mountain time on the next business day at the Cheyenne Headquarters office will be accepted as meeting the application deadline.
If the deadline date is on a day when the Cheyenne Headquarters office is closed for normal business hours (weekends, holidays, etc.), online applications received by 5 p.m. mountain time on the next business day that the Cheyenne Headquarters office is open for business will be accepted.
All applications received after that time and date will be rejected and returned
to the applicant after the respective drawings have been conducted.
The initial drawing is the first drawing offered for both Full Price
and Reduced Price Limited Quota Licenses.
Use Form 17 (Page 33) to apply for Full Price Elk and Reduced Price Cow/Calf Elk Licenses.
Use Form 18 (Page 35) to apply for Full Price Deer and Reduced Price Doe/Fawn Deer Licenses.
Use Form 19 (Page 37) to apply for Full Price Antelope and Reduced Price Doe/Fawn Antelope Licenses.
Use Form 2 (Page 31) to appy for Moose, Bighorn Sheep and Mountain Goat licenses.
Use Form 30 (available on website June 15) to apply for preference points only during the application periods listed below.
